LITTLE ROCK, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Windstream (NYSE: WIN) is offering DISH Network's DISH Remote Access service, a new feature that gives customers a convenient way to access their DVR anytime, anywhere broadband service is available.

With DISH Remote Access, customers will never miss a recording. The service lets customers find and record television programs from Internet connected devices, all for no additional charge. In addition, customers that have their DVR connected to Windstream broadband can access additional video on demand content.

"The DISH Remote Access feature provides customers with an easy way to keep up with their DVR recordings on the go," said Don Perkins, Windstream vice president of product marketing. DISH Remote Access allows viewers to access all the features of a DISH Network DVR remote control, including browsing the program guide to search for shows, scheduling DVR recordings, setting and deleting timers and controlling recording priorities.

"DISH Remote Access provides the most robust online DVR interface available," said Ira Bahr, chief marketing officer for DISH Network. "No other service compares to the level of DVR control that DISH Remote Access offers.
